I have a new install of Joomla 3.2.0. Can I use Easy Blog with that?
Also, I want to use it mostly to migrate pages from a Wordpress site. Do I create a XML folder and put the exported xml file in it? I didn't find an existing folder. I've done that but EasyBlog is not finding the file to import.
Hello Nanette,

Once you have the xml file that has been exported you will need to upload it into /administrator/components/com_easyblog/xmlfiles/ . Then, access the migrator and click on the Wordpress tab

Yes. But there was not an existing folder names 'xmlfiles'. Was I supposed to create one? That's what I did but it hasn't worked.

Also is the extension compatible with joomla 3.2.0?

Hello Nanette,

Hm, that's strange. It should have this folder by default. Can you upload the exported xml file to /administrator/components/com_easyblog/xmlfiles/ and once you are done, provide me with the back end and FTP access to the site. I'll check on this

Hello Nanette,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it was pretty late last night when you last replied. I tried to access the site with the provided login credentials but I seem to be hitting some errors, http://screencast.com/t/BSc8JXqdZ8M . Can you please advise?

Sorry. I've realized there is something wrong with the joomla installation, as you'll see the interface of the backend is messed up. Not sure if the installation is also causing this problem or not. This log in should work for you. Take a peek but if the anwer is not obvious I may have to reinstall it.
