Hi I have a Joomla 3 Site which won't upgrade to Joomla 4 I have recreated the site on a fresh install of Joomla 4 I was wondering If I can migrate the Komento Post from my Joomla 3 site to the new Joomla 4 site Its is not essential but would like to know before I renew my subscription
Yes, it is possible to migrate the Komento data from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4.

Before migration, please ensure that you:

- Have already performed a backup of both the sites before performing any operation

- Migrated all users from the original site (Joomla 3) into the new site (Joomla 4). All user ids on the new site need to be the same as the origin site

- Don't install Komento on the new site (Joomla4) first

Migration Steps
1. Open up phpMyAdmin and navigate to your current site's database.

2. In phpMyAdmin, export the tables that have the prefix of #__komento_*. Then, download the SQL file and save it on your desktop.

3. If the database prefix on the new site is the same as the origin site, you may skip this step.

4. If the new site uses a different database prefix, you will need to edit the SQL file and perform a search and replace of the database prefix accordingly.

5. Open up phpMyAdmin and navigate to the new site's database.

6. Click on the Import link at the top. Browse for the SQL file that was exported and click the run import button.

7. Install the latest version of Komento on your new site

8. Copy over the attachment folder associated with Komento (e.g. JoomlaOldSiteFolder/media/com_komento/uploads)

Hope this will help.
