I have read the wiki below on migrating from one site to another however I am attempting to upgrade my local copy of the old BLOG and it just hangs at 10%

http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/migrations/migrating-easyblog-to-different-site

One of the important elements is to make sure both versions of EASYBLOG are running the same version. I am attempting to migrate from version: 3.9.22295 > 5.0.36

How can I update my local version to the correct version? is there a location I can download from? for JOOMLA V2 2.5 that will get the tables as I need them?

Thanks

I have attempted to install the full package however nothing happens I dont even get an error message........

If I check to see if it installed I can see that it hasnt
Do you mean your locally Easyblog version is 3.9.22295 now, then you would like to upgrade to Easyblog 5.x version right?

If yes, perhaps you can try backup your data first and follow my instruction below and see how it goes :
1. Backup all the data
2. Uninstall your current Easyblog extension from backend > extension > Manage > manage
3. Download the full installer file from http://stackideas.com/dashboard
4. Install it through your JOomla backend installer page

If still hitting the installation issue, perhaps you can temporary upload your local site to live so that we can directly look into your installation issue.
