I am moving to a new hosting site, and the challenge I am running into is Akeeba is not allowing for our backups to be imported into the new server. I was wondering if Easyblog, EasySocial, Komento, and EasyDiscuss have ways to import everything to the new server. I have a feeling I am going to have to rebuild everything from scratch, but I do not want to loose the information from the programs I have bought from you that is on our old server. Is it possible to import all my blog articles and the settings for each program into the new server?

I have not switched over DNS yet or set up the new server as the company I went with told me that they would remove the current install I had on the server and try to do it from my backup. So in the event I have to do everything manually I want to import it from the one server to the next.

Hey Zack,

If you already migrate over those old user data into your new site, then you can just export all the Easyblog, EasySocial, Komento, and EasyDiscuss table from your database then import into your new site database.

Once you import correctly, then only install back Easyblog, EasySocial, Komento, and EasyDiscuss extension through your new site installer page.

But to do this you can try 1 extension first, to make sure first extension import correctly then only start import second extension.

And you also need to migrate over for those media storage file over your new site. e.g. image files.

Hope this will help.
