We created a fresh J3.4.5 install and migrated our existing EasyBlog posts from the old 2.5 site, and are now unable to edit existing posts in either the frontend or backend, regardless of whether we use the composer or JCE Editor. The error message is "Unable to store post."
I know it's your weekend & I'm not trying to rush you but I think I figured out the problem. Although I migrated all of the Joomla users from the previous site & imported all the EB tables, the posts are all assigned to Guest as the author. I've changed a few to the correct author & think I'll be able to edit now.

This has uncovered another problem, though - it won't let me use my previous bio permalink b/c it says it's already in use. How can I assign the permalinks that we were using previously so our incoming bio links won't be broken?

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

To be honest I am not sure what is going on there as we don't have the exact idea on how you migrate your old site to the new site previously. Perhaps you can try to take a look on your post database table, #__easyblog_post at column `permalink` and adjust it from there.

Hope these help.
