Migrate from Jomsocial to EasySocial

Hi,
we manage a community based on Jomsocial and Kunena component.
We seriously want to switch between Jomsocial to EasySocial.
We saw a tutorial to do it here :

Questions :
- is this tutorial uptodate ?
- may i know if there are some critical points?
- Is Acymailing system integrated to EasySocial ?
- Is there any bugs known with Gantry Framework ? Actually our site is T3 based, but we will switch to new version based on Gantry.

Hello Olivier,

Yep, the tutorial should be sufficient What's most important in the migration process is for you to map the fields accordingly as we need to be able to determine which fields prior to JomSocial should be mapped to EasySocial

In EasySocial 1.3 we have added acymailing fields and this would allow users to subscribe to newsletter lists within Acymailing.

As for Gantry Framework, I believe it should work fine as there are no complaints so far apart from several css conflicts which is pretty easy to be fixed!
