Hello,

as many we are using the jfbconnect extension to do 2 things: import data from other social networks in registration and after use the social connect feature.

actually we have a big number of users already have their profiles mapped with social networks,
we are consedering migrate to have less extensions and more performance.

we have two questions :

1. Can we (actually or ion the future) import users data from other social networks ? name, email, job, location ..
2. Are you considering to build a migration tool to import social networks mappings from jfb ?

thanks
JFBConnect actually does more than just a login but to be honest, I am not too sure if we could migrate those data across. Currently we plan only on supporting the main social networks, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

If there are other providers that you want us to support, feel free to post them under the feature requests area

Thanks Mark,

for us those three are most used for our members.
Then you advise us to continue using jfb as it import users data and also connect them ?

Hm, I thought you were referring to data from Facebook and not JFBC. Feel free to post it under the feature requests area and we'll consider this

By the way, it looks like your subscription has expired and in order for you to continue requesting for support, you will need an active subscription. If you have already renewed, please let us know so that we can correct this for your account.

Thank you for understanding.

No problem and thanks for understanding It's not about whether you are new here or not, it's about being fair to other customers, I hope you understand where we are coming from.
