Hi,
Easy Social by default installs in a subfolder called "Community".
I would like that the community page is the first thing that website visitors of my website will see.
That's why it would be better if the script functions from the home page.

I would like that members of my website have as web URL:
https://ramaam.com/member

I would not like that they have to use a link like
https://ramaam.com/community/member
as is the case now, when the Easy Social script is inside the folder "community".

Could you please let me know how to migrate Easy Social to the root folder?

Thank you,
Jan
Hey Jan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. It's actually pretty simple, all you need to do is to set your frontpage menu item as EasySocial dashboard and you are good to go

Dear Mark,
Thank you very much for your quick reply, even in the weekend!

It works now!

You can reply after the weekend, but my next question is, would it be possible to make it so that the user's folder comes directly after the website URL?

Now it looks like this: website url/profile/susan

I would be very happy if it could be: website url/susan

Thank you,
Jan

Hey Jan,

It can be achieved provided that:

1. You have mod_rewrite
2. You have enabled the option "Allow simple urls" in Settings > Users > Display.
3. The user needs to add a permalink when they edit their profile
