Migrate Easy Discuss from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3.8

Hello Team

I am using Easy Discuss Component on my Joomla 2.5 site. Now I want to migrate all my data from old Easy Discuss version to latest Easy Discuss Version 4.0.20.

Please help, how to migrate Easy Discuss.

Are both of these sites identical? How are you migrating / upgrading from 2.5 to 3.x?

Hello

1. Both the sites are identical, expect joomla version.

2. We want to migrate a Jomla 2.5 site to 3.8, so is the old version of EasyDiscuss to latest version. We are migrating them manually.

Hi Craig,

I'm a little confused. Do you mean that you just want to update Joomla and EasyDiscuss to the latest version on the same site? Not to a different domain correct?

If yes, you can upgrade EasyDiscuss first, then Joomla. Remember to backup the site beforehand.
