We have migrated a WordPress blog into EasyBlog successfully, however we discovered that all of the image paths are actually still pointing to the WordPress blog and no images were imported into EasyBlog. If we manually download the WordPress images where do we need to upload those images via FTP into EasyBlog so that all sizes are generated automatically, ie. thumbnails?
Hello,

Our migrator does not actually migrate the images from Wordpress but even if you place those images back to your Joomla folder, the content itself needs to be modified as the content is pointing to your Wordpress image sources. How many posts are there?

Hello,

Hm, this is going to be really tricky We could help you with re-migrating the data and see if we can somehow extract these images and update the image locations when migrating the post's content. Would that be possible? We would need to delete all the existing migrated posts and re-migrate it again though.

That is tricky! Unfortunately, we have done quite a bit of work to move from the single user ID to legitimate author IDs (several hours of manual work that would have to be redone...unless there is a new batch process we are missing).

FYI, there are 150MB of images (2948 images). It appears that WordPress was configured to create 4 different image sizes with each upload, so about 1/3 of those are superfluous. With some thumbnail and icon configuration in EasyBlog, we could probably reuse at least 3 in each image set, but the naming convention for EasyBlog appears to be established at upload.

Thanks!

Hello,

Hm, i am afraid if that's the case you would need to manually upload and re-assign the images into the blog post
