Actually how this Metaman work is allow your site admin to easier to edit your site any pages for the meta data.

For example :

If you would like to modify your site homepage meta data or opengraph data, you can modify these content through Metaman.

1. default meta title and description content (http://take.ms/kOJoA) , this content will appear on the search engine e.g. Google

2. So if you would like to edit it, you can edit this through the frontend http://take.ms/AahjV

3. Once you save already, it will load your custom meta content http://take.ms/bUCWa

4. But it will not immediately affect on those search engine like Google, but when Google crawl your site page again, it will use your custom meta data.

But I would like to clarify one thing is when you install Metaman it doesn't mean that it will improve your site SEO directly, you have to manually to modify it, Metaman is like one of the tool allow your site admin to easier to update the meta content on different pages.
