Hi.
I have just set up a team blog entry. Upon returning to it, I notice that the metadata description and keywords I entered have been stripped of spaces and commas. For example, the metadata description has been stripped to read as follows:

TheteamblogofIT-Advice.GURU.Writtenandcontributedtobytheteamthatrunthesite.TheblogcontainsinformationaboutthesiteandITTechmattersingeneral

I have not tested this yet to see if it's a problem with all metadata fields throughout the site as I am currently in the process of setting up EB5. I am on version 5.08

Cheers
Dave

Hello Dave,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

May I know the blog post url that has the meta description being stripped after publish? I tried to replicate it in my local instance but it seems like the meta description is displaying properly for team blog post.

Please advise.

Hi Ezrul.
It's not a blog, it's when editing the team blog settings. In the "Meta" fields, if you enter anything in there, that's where the spaces and comma's get stripped. See screenshot.

Hello Dave,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you download the attachment below and place it inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/controllers/ folder and then edit the meta description again and see how it goes?
