meta descriptions on blog pages

Hello,
I am having an issue with the blog meta descriptions and blogger descriptions. I have set them up within EasyBlog (Joomla version 2.5.18) for both the blog posts and the bloggers and they still keep using the main Joomla site description. Any ideas?

Yes, we need your backend access and FTP access as well.
