Meta descriptions and facebook

Hi

As much as we love easy blog and how easy it makes everything for us, we are still wondering why the meta descriptions area of easy blob, sometimes shows up on face book and sometimes doesn't.

So we'll input a description of the article in the meta description area, then post to face book, the link some times picks up the meta description and some times doesn't.

Can you explain why please and what we can do to guarantee it does happen.

When you publish a blog post (If you have auto postings enabled), Facebook will try to crawl the page to look for the contents. There are times where their crawler is unable to connect to your site for a ton of reasons which we can't explain either (It's with their crawlers algorithm) and when that happens, it is cached.

The only possible way to fix that is to place the URL in their debugger tool at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ to purge their cache by clicking on the "Scrape Again" button.
