Hello,
Just to point out something that should be corrected in the next versions (possibly the 4.1).
When one is editing its profile in easydiscuss, the change doesn't apply while one didnot entered its password.
The change doesnt apply, ok, but it is written that the change has been successfull and it doesn't ask the user to give its password while changing its information. That should be corrected.

Not a big deal aha but has to be mentionned, thanks for your awesome work and support.
Hi there,

I am not sure how to replicate this issues currently, but from what i understand here, when editing your profile(using ED), those changes made doesn't applied to each fields. And i tested this, those changes made on my profiles, seems to works fines as those changes made save correctly.

Maybe you can provide us with proper steps or attach us with some screenshot or maybe videos on how to replicate this.

Please advice.

Hey,

Unfortunately I can't provide you videos so I will be more specific on the problem :

1 - I edit any of the field (lets say the email of the user) and validate
2 - It shows me the message "the profil has been successfully edited", but the mail I did not changed
3 - I retry and see that to change the email I need to type the password of the user, the same message shows and it works.

So, either there is a problem on my website, and the change should apply wheither or not the password is entered.
Or it is necessary to enter the password while changing the email and then the user should be informed the change had not been effective and shouldn't see a "the profil has been successfully edited" message.

Is it more clear ?

Hi there,

Oh, thanks for the clarifications. I can replicate them now. I have logged this issues internally and this will included on our next release versions. Thanks for your understanding.
