Menu items from plans adding &tmpl=component

How do I stop this, its very frustrating as I need to retain headers and footers from the site. Even a manually created link adds this automatically after it is clicked

I have removed this in another instance for another client but I cant for the life of me remember where this setting is
Hey Jason,

Go to Backend Setting >> Layout, find "Render Checkout Process in Full Screen" and disable this setting, so tmpl=component will not add to the URL.
