Currently there appears to be no way to add a logout option in my custon user menu. Community Builder has a menu item option dedicated to allowing the user to be able to sign out. Perhaps this could be included in EasySocial? Or I would be happy with a url that would log the user out which then I could create it as an "external link". Either way works for me.
Hello Josh,

Sorry but I don't quite get you here. Do you mean the existing module?

I'm not talking about a login form which "works" but some of us use our own joomla menu through out the site.

I attached a screen shot (using firebug) that shows a menu item type where the admin can select it and it would make the user logout when that menu item is clicked. This way I could create a url like http://www.alpineascent.com/logout by using a menu item. We have a login menu item, so why not have a logout one?

Hi Guys,

ES social version 1.3.19 is out, yet I can´t find the logout action to add to my own joomla menu - as described above.

Please advise what link to use?

Thanks!

Hello Marc,

We don't actually have a menu item for this yet currently. Let me try to get someone to quickly add this in the next release.

I saw that, problem is there is no URL link shown, it logs you out perfectly, however if you create a custom HTML module as a logout button, you need a link URL to forward/link to - what URL can be used to force logout?

Sorry should have been more clear about that:(
