I have added a menu item of type "My Assigned Post layout" (option=com_easydiscuss&view=assigned).

Cklick on this menu item by the user from the front end throws an 404 error.
Hey Mark,

thanks a lot for the replay ! I have noticed the problem for the non-admin and non-moderator user. I thought this menu option is for displaying all discussions started by the user.

I have now tested with super admin and the menu option works for him.

So my next question would be - is there any direct way to display all discussions related to the (any registered) current user (created by the current user) ?

thanks a lot for answer in advance !

best regards
Martin

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Are you a moderator or a site admin? This menu only allows moderators / site admins to access this page.

Hey Martin,

Unfortunately right now, the only way to link to list down discussions created by users is to view their own profile page We'll add this functionality in the next version of EasyDiscuss

ok. thanks a lot.

Maybe a small suggestion - in this case (user not logged in, user does not have permissions) I would suggest to display a message instead of error 404. Other menu items for EasyDiscuss response with corresponding friendly error message in such cases.

best regards !!
