I want Registered users to be able to edit their profile. However, these users should NOT have access to editing any blog-related fields, e.g. Blog Title, because they don't have access to blogging. They can only create comments.

As you can see in the attached screen capture,
1. Users can edit their profile using the Community Builder "userdetails" menu item, which is called "Edit Pro (CB)" on my site. This is good.
2. Users can't edit their profile using the EasyBlog "(Dashboard) Edit Profile" menu item, which is called "Edit Pro (CB)" on my site. Clicking on this menu item does NOTHING! How can I fix this?
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.

It seems like you provided that login credentials no longer work, you can check my attached screenshot below.

By the way, it would be best if you can provide us with your site Superadmin login access so we can better have a check what is your current Easyblog configuration setting.

Arlex,

Thank you for checking this during your public holiday. You don't have to spend any more time on this during your public holiday. You can look into it when you are back to work.

I have just tried to login by copying the login credentials (bil_***@y***.com), which I sent to you, and pasted it into the login page. It worked just fine.

Moreover, I updated the ticket with the admin credentials. Sorry, I missed that earlier. I thought that I don't have to enter them again since I entered them in previous tickets.

No problem Bilal.

Just now I actually tried login from your live site, this is why not working.

I've checked on your site, it seems like this user 'bil_***@y***.com' do not have permission to write blog post on the site, this is why this user unable to edit Easyblog profile page when this user click on that menu item.

May i know what is your current requirement?

So you mean you would like those registered user click on this menu item (https://www.screencast.com/t/HiD7Afs4) who do not have permission to write blog post, redirect to Community builder edit profile page? http://take.ms/B0RBT

What I had in mind was that when they click on that menu item, they will be redirected to the EasyBlog Edit Profile page, like any other user. However, they will NOT see the blog-specific fields. Please, refer to the attached screen capture.

However, redirecting them to the Community Builder Edit Profile is another option, which I would consider, although they won't have access to the profile image or the GDPR section, which are on the EasyBlog Profile Edit.

Perfect. This works perfectly.
Will this be part of new versions, or it is a hack, which I need to make sure is redone after each upgrade?
