Menu Access App problems Take 02

Hi SI Team

I have 4 Groups on my site:

FCPX NOT Pro "Demo" Study Group. = Open and everyone can view everything.

BUG All Members HQ is here = Open and everyone can view some things before having to join!

FCPX Media Foundations 101.X = You need a PayPlans subscription to view.

FCPX Browser Mastery 201.X = You need a PayPlans subscription to view.

In PayPlans>Apps there are 2 Apps which control this. As far as I can see both are set up identical and neither work!

“Menu 101.X Access” = DOES NOT WORK. Anyone logged in or not logged in can look at link/menu. Groups>Study 101.X MF

“Menu 201.X Access” = DOES NOT WORK. Anyone logged in or not logged in can look at link/menu. Groups>Study 201.X BM

I am unpublishing the Groups & making them Invite only. Ditto the associated plans!

Could someone kindly check this and make sure that “Menu 201.X Access” works exactly as “Menu 101.X Access” does.

I recently edited/updated the headers for the Groups and if I had to guess I would say that this broke something!

I am sorry but I have to say this, this is very frustrating

WorkFlow is as follows...

a) Menu Items:

Under the menu Item “Groups”

Study MF 101.X (Currently disabled for obvious reasons)
Study BM 201.X (Currently disabled for obvious reasons)

Study MF 101.X (d) (Currently disabled for obvious reasons)
Study BM 201.X (d) (Currently disabled for obvious reasons)

Where (d) is for a German menu I am testing!

b) Group Items:

FCPX Media Foundations 101.X (Currently “Invite Only” for obvious reasons)
FCPX Browser Mastery 201.X (Currently “Invite Only” for obvious reasons)

c) PayPlan Apps

Menu 101.X Access (Have left these on as they have no effect with the items above off)
Menu 201.X Access (Have left these on as they have no effect with the items above off)

Please, please and please help me nail this.

I am really sorry for the delayed response due to weekend.

Regarding menuaccess app issue, I've checked your site, you have created 2 app instance for menu access. One for Menu Study MF 101.X and another one for Study BM 201.X .

Actually these restricted menus are shown to non-logged or non-subscriber user's because in Menu access plugin , Show Menus option is set as Yes, I've already set it to No, so these menus will shown to user's only if they have valid subscription.
We added some fixed in menuaccess app in version 4.0.2

If the issue is related to show hide, can you take a look again on this, i've already changes the menuaccess plugin config to show/hide menus. Change the group setting from invite only and take a look again on this.
Is it possible for you to capture a video of issue , so i'll be able to know the exact steps to re-produce.

The issue mentioned here, we already released this fix in PayPlans version 4.0.2.

Is this the issue or i misunderstood ? Correct me.

Yes, I saw that and hope that this problem has finally been solved. I am on 4.02.

Change the group setting from invite only and take a look again on this.


Done and I confirm that things seem to be working as of now as they should.
