Hi there,

a few weeks ago I posted about metions with latin extended chars which doesn't work in EasyDiscuss:
https://stackideas.com/forums/mentions-not-working-with-latin-extended-chars

As I see in EasyDiscuss 4.0.13 on changelog, this bus should be repaired, but still occurs.

The problems is when I try to enter name with latin extended char, e.g.:

I try to enter @Małgosia

and when I put " ł " char, it hides me tip with correct person and makes this mention as unactive.

The same situation when I try to enter @Łukasz

Please inspect this bug again :-)

Best regards!
Adam
Hi Adam,
May I know how you input those characters on a regular keyboard so I can test this out on my local instance? Thanks.

Hi Raymond,

I put these characters by left ALT+a or other: left ALT+L

(as examples)

Hey Adam,
Ok now that I am able to type the 'Ł' character properly with the Polish keyboard input, I am able to replicate this issue locally.
I will reopen this issue internally so that the devs can take a look at this again.

Hey Adam,
We have a fix available for this issue. Can you download the attached file and apply it into the following directory?
JoomlaFolder/media/com_easydiscuss/scripts/vendors/jquery.atwho.js
If it's not working, try switching ED to development mode then back to production mode and see how it goes.

Hey Adam,
Perhaps you can try running this in your frontend to compile the js files
.../index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&compile=1&minify=1
