Mention user in a question @ or #?

Hi,
How do I mention a user in a question? I'm trying to use @ or # but it looks like it's not working.

This mentions feature only available to the built-in BBCode editor. (screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/SpLkGPF6 )

But I noticed there got some bug, it seems like it doesn't show the user permalink from the mentioned word, I will log into the issue tracker.

After check further, it seems like a false alarm, may I know what you set for this setting "Display Name format" on your site?
