Hello,
I thought that @ followed by the name of a member create a link to the profile of the member and send him a notification, I tried but it had no effect.
Did I understand the role of the @ name statements?

Yes, that is correct, but based on what i see your screenshot, it look like that mention just a text and it doesn't generate as a profile link, this is why it doesn't work.

By right, when you type @ you have to enter that user name and see whether it got suggest you as a name from the dropdown, you need to choose that name from the dropdown, otherwise it will not work.

That's how I imagined it, but it does not work.
I must specify that I use a customized version of the file (... story default.php) because I have integrated a choice of background.
