Dear stackideas,

We noticed that members of a group can't add an group event while admins and creators of the group can.
It would be nice if we could let all members add events in a group.

In the settings i found the right section but i can't set it to all members.
We can do this with every other sections such as file's and albums but not evens.

I've also attached a screenshot to clearify.

I would like to hear from you soon.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. This is actually configured by the group admin as they can determine which type of users in their group are allowed to create event in the group. Kindly take a look at my screen shot here, http://take.ms/qGrSK

If you don't see this option, it's most likely that you have not added the custom field to the workflow of your group category yet. If you have not, you just need to add the "Event Creation" field to the workflow of your group category, http://take.ms/6EaHg
