My test member was just upgraded. I did this via the back end. I see him as Premium and also I see his subscription in PayPlans is also a Premium -Forever.

On his profile I see a basic member badge and also still see the upgrade to Premium option displayed.

I would think the new user would assigned a premium member badge (photo 1) and also the Upgrade option would go away (photo 1)

In the back end I have made the module "membership" and assigned it only to Basic & Registered Members. Is this correct or should it be ONLY Basic members?
Hello Jason,

I checked your site , i have created a testuser 2 and assign him premium plan , he is assigned to premium profiletype.
see attached screen shot.

The membership module you have created is accessible to Registered user's . Every user is in registered group so it will shown to all.
Here you want to set the upgrade link then you need set the payplans dashboard user where he can upgrade from his existing plan to higher one.

If i misunderstood your issue please correct me and explain in details to replicate this issue.

How have you done this?

I think there is some disconnect between joomla and EasySocial. In joomla user management area the user is Registered Premium but in EasySocial User he is still an unverified basic member At the EasySocial User summary screen.

When you look in Easy Social Users details and click on the specific user it says Basic Member but then when you look at assigned groups it says Premium

Why is this occuring?

If you make them Premium via Joomla user should this not be throughout the site?

Why does EasySocial summary screen show Basic but in detailed user info says assigned group is premium?

Please also respond to this issue.

I separated this threat into 2 issues. This 1 and then also the lack of an upgrade button on the site (other thread).
