Hi,

We are having a strange issue in the blog editor, I found one solution that was provided on this link http://stackideas.com/forums/unable-to-insert-image-while-editing-a-post cause previously we are encountering a problem on the tag.js same with what was posted in here but now we encounter another issue on the tag.js javascript it's:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'addClass' of undefined

this is after we download the tag.js file uploaded on that link and updated our tag.js here to resolve the issue.

Please advise what is causing this issue to happen? this causes the media tab to stop from working only for blogs that are assigned with tags but not on items not having even 1 tag on them. By the way or easyblog version is 3.5.11874 and our joomla version is 2.5.9
Hello Eric,

Sorry for the late reply. The fix Mark provided on the other post might not be suitable for your version of EasyBlog. You should update to the latest EasyBlog as that might your issue. If you need help with this please send us your backend and FTP access to check it out. Please advice.

Thanks!

I ran a test just using Joomla 2.5.6 and easyblog 3.5.11874.

we have the same easyblog version were only having different joomla version that is why I decided to copy the same file since the issue were experiencing is exactly the same. We cannot instantly do the update cause it's running on the live site and plenty of people are already accessing it.

Hello Eric,

Then in that case can we have backend and FTP access of your site to debug this? Please advice.

Sorry this is a huge site and for our security we can't provide you those details, please send us the updated file that can resolve this issue then we can upload it on our website and see if it works. or if there are any other configurations that we need to do you may provide us with instructions on how to check or change them whenever necessary for this version.

Hello Eric,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I'm afraid that there is hundreds of patches since EasyBlog version 3.5 and we can't possibly provide you with fix without taking a look at your site and where the issue is originating from EasyBlog 3.5 is actually considered obsolete but we are willing to help you debug this but without any access there isn't much we can do. Please advice.

Thanks!

Hello Adelene,

I see ok no problem I think we can hold on to that anyway we have planned to upgrade our joomla version from 2.5.9 to 3.0 until then we may also upgrade our easyblog version to the latest version as well which is compatible with the new joomla version. Thanks for the response.

Regards!
