Hi,

I am having a really difficult time getting to grips with your new composer. It's not very user friendly. I've ready the documentation but in practice it seems not to be so straightforward.

1. It seems also impossible to select where to insert a block. I added text the wanted to add an image block between two paragraphs. I place the cursor where I want it to be added but the block seems to get added at random, usually at the beginning of the text block. How can I control where the block is added?

2. Image manager does not work. I try uploading (via the backend) a jpeg of 30 KB (jpg is in the list of allowed files and the limit is 1MB). I get an error message "file not allowed try again". No amount of trying again seems to help. This composer is therefore useless to us.

Please advise as this is very frustrating. If I have difficulties then I'm almost certain my client is going to be equally frustrated.

Thanks in advance.
Additional issues: I have gone into settings and changed from the composer to JCE. After saving and clearing the Joomla cache I STILL get your composer. I do not get JCE as expected. So it seems I'm stuck as I cannot add images to my blog post. I really need a solution ASAP as this blog post needs to go out tomorrow.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

If your existing post already created by using build-in Easyblog composer, this post can't be switch to another editor. Unless you have to re-create again this post, since you already configure to use JCE editor, when you create a new blog in your site, it should show JCE editor by default.

If the issue still persists and can't use JCE editor, perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?
