Hi

I need some help with the installation of EasySocial. I get to step 4 and get the error message: MD5 hash of the downloaded file does not match.

Hi Again

I have just been prompted to update to the latest version. When following through with the update procedure, it failed. Again I was given the following error message: "The MD5 hash of the downloaded file does not match. Please contact our support team to look into this."

Firstly, can I please get some help with this.

Secondly, I am wondering what the problem is and if it is going to be an ongoing problem .... or is it something I have done wrong?

Is yours stuck at 10% install of the stage 4 process too?
I've currently got debug disabled, so wondering if this is the same problem I am having.

Also, is there a bug of some type, or am I going to have to go through this process each time an upgrade is necessary?

We have upgraded the easy social in your site. You may have a look .

In order to avoid another MD5 issue in the near future, please download the full version of easy social instead of the launcher as shown in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/Sb5oMKJcVqq5 . Then during installation select installation via directory shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/kF4Ek6HK and select the package with the latest version for example com_easysocial_component 1.2.17 .
