Mass Assignment of Badges - No option to send email to users?

When using the mass assignment of badges option (CSV upload) it seems there is a way to flag if the entry should go on the stream or not, but no ability to say whether the user should get an email or not? (like he or she would if the badge was individually assigned)

Is this an oversight? Can it be added in? I need my users to know they are getting badges to help drive them back to the site...

My concern is no one will vote for it because it's such a specialist area which few people likely make use of. Very important for me though!!!!! I hope the new Voices with low votes will still be noticed by the team?
