Setting it up should be pretty straight forward. Copy the URL of your blog (EasyBlog page), as it does generate a RSD tag on the head of your page so that these XMLRPC based clients would be smart enough to detect the xmlrpc links.

What I need to put in the "API Endpoint URL" and "Blog ID" fields?

Hm, try selecting "Metaweblog" instead of Movable type. The endpoint url should be http://test-flypixel.flypixel.net/index.php?option=com_easyblog&controller=xmlrpc

Just enter "1" would do It's specifically targeted on blogs with "multiple blogs (sites)"

... thank you again Mark but I've another problem, where should I set authorizations in MarsEdit to post articles? When I send an article via MarsEdit I've another error message " Can’t post for Flypixel because the server reported an error: NO PERMISSION TO CREATE BLOG." ... or I guess that is in EasyBlog that I need to set this parameter. In my case only a user with administrator rights can post articles on the blog...

Right click on the "Blog" on the sidebar and click edit password, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-10_1527.png . Ignore the behavior that you see on my screen shot as I am working on EasyBlog 5 currently and it's utilizing the wordpress api which would be awesome for you because you get additional benefits compared to metaweblog (in current 3.9)

Why? It's a pretty good blog client in my opinion Alternatively you can use Windows Live Writer (For windows only unfortunately)

... because I think with a good setup of EasyBlog combined with JCE (with additional plugin) it'is more than enough, … I would even say that this combination offers more possibilities.
If you give me other arguments about MarsEdit I'll reconsider my decision

Yes, I'm agree with you But let say MarsEdit compare with JCE editor, MarsEdit can allows for offline editing.
