Hey guys, if someone can help me out with this also it would be great. Please see attached images for examples.
Basically if I want to just state that I am Married or in a Relatioship or Engaged etc, i cannot do it without having to write in her name and what's more, she has to be a member.

If she is not a member, I literally can't select the Married option.
Is my version different than anyone elses?
Can someone please help me with this?
thanks
Hey Ben,

It's currently not possible to set a relationship status without tagging another person but in EasySocial 2.1, we have added more options in the relationship field so that you can just set your relationship status without tagging anyone from the site.

Hey Mark thanks for your quick response.
So actually me or anyone else that is married cannot select another option since the other standalone options are: Single, Divorced, Widowed or Separated.

I think we really need the stand alone option of just 'Married' and 'Engaged' and maybe "In a Relationship'.
Can you please add these in?
The community niche that I am creating this site for will probably be 80% married, engaged or in a relationship so if their partners are not on the site (or they have one account for both), they will not be able to select any relevant option. On the contrary they will have to choose something totally opposite.

Can you pretty please provide a solution for this Mark?
Very much appreciated.

Hey Mark, unfortunately, looks like this issue still persists in ver 2.1.
Any chance that can be changed?

Hey Ben,

We added this as an optional settings within the field. You can activate it as shown here, http://take.ms/SpJF2

Hey Ben,

Hm, in your screen shot, it looks like you are still on version 2.0 and not the 2.1 version. Do take note that 2.1 is still in alpha stage.

Hey Ben,

Do take note that this is an alpha release and it may / will contain bugs and it wouldn't be stable but if you are up for it, you could always head over to https://stackideas.com/forums/easysocial-2-1-0-alpha-1 to download the package.

Once downloaded, install it just like how you initially install EasySocial

Thanks Mark,

I probably won't be launching my site for about a month. Would the stable version be out by then?

Hey Ben,

Yep, but it also depends on the beta testers as the more issues reported by them, it'll be more stable because we get to test on a variety of different environment
