I am sorry but currently this is not possible yet with EasyDiscuss. EasyDiscuss actually stored which posts already 'read' by a user in database table. Take a look at table jos_discuss_users at column 'posts_read'. This is where EasyDiscuss registered the posts that already read by the user.
