Do you have instructions on how to format the emails that are sent via EasyBlog? I've seen the .php files but am not sure what to change. For instance, I'd like to change or eliminate the icon and title, change the wording.(use "news" instead of "blog") etc.

See https://monosnap.com/file/s5OPAr72s8SGmcEOTYlooI5aK7czDZ# for what shows now.
Hey there,

You can edit the post.new.php file which is at JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/emails/html/post.new.php.

change the wording.(use "news" instead of "blog" etc.

You can look for its language constant and language override it which is at Backend > Extensions > Languages > Overrides at Filter, select ''Your Language' - Administrator > press 'New'.
.

Do take note that remember to tick 'For Both Locations' so that it will be applied on both backend and frontend. (Kindly refer the screenshot)

Can you have a try and see how it goes?

Take note that after you edit the file, make sure you backup it so that you can paste it back after you update your EasyBlog to the next version.

Hello Irwin,

Is there an override for this in the Template Manager? Right now, I am looking for the EasyBlog logo in the header of the email template. I found template.php in the email section here: index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=spools&layout=editor

I do not see a reference to the Easyblog logo though.

Thanks!

Hello Mary,

If you are just trying to change the logo in the e-mail, you should follow the documentation here, https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/customizations/customizing-email-logo
