1) How can I disable comments in stream items generated when new articles are created in K2? The reason being, from what I searched in the forums here, I understand that when user comments on these stream items, they will not appear in that article comments even when using Komento. Based on Mark's answer in that topic, I see that its not possible atm. So questions on this are:

  • If I use Komento, would it be possible to add a new feature so when user comments on New Article Feeds from EasySocial, those comments are also automatically added to the Komento comments for that article? Having comments for the same contents in different sections doesnt make sense and can create confusion.

  • If the above is not possible, then how can I disable commenting in K2 Article streams? Can you add that feature for this K2 app plugin please?

2) How can I change the following:

  • Change the K2 Icon Image that shows in Profile Applications (the K2's mountain peak image)
  • Change the K2 icon that shows in Stream Filter (K2 Articles filter in left sidebar)
  • Basically replace K2 icon completely in all instances.

3) How do I rename "K2 Articles" that shows in filters to just "Articles"? I see that I can edit the Application name from K2-User settings in EasySocial backend, but this doesnt change the name that shows for filters.

4) When the K2 Article Plugin adds a stream for new K2 articles. the icon that shows in the stream (on the top right of the stream post), when I hover over it, it says K2 Articles. I need to replace this to Articles as well. Since a lot of these edits are language related, is there a common language file that both K2 inbuilt app and K2 plugin uses so I can go through these lists and edit them manually?

5) Is it possible to create multiple instances of this K2 Articles app? Meaning, I use K2 that runs different sections in my site. For example, lets say: Vehicles, Services, Blogs. All of them are K2. Instead of showing a general app as K2 Articles, is it possible to duplicate the same app for each K2 categories like: Vehicles Articles, Blog Articles, etc.. so they can be filtered individually instead of grouping all of them as articles?

Sorry but there's no way to turn this off currently.

You can replace the image file in /media/com_easysocial/apps/user/k2/assets/icons/large.png

You can do this in the language file located in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini

I am sorry but unfortunately this is not possible currently.
