Hi guys

We have added some static HTML pages to our site, as there doesn't look to be an ability to do it via EasySocial. However these pages are visible to the outside world - i.e. people who are not logged in. How do we go about making these pages private and only visible to logged in users of EasySocial?

Thanks a lot.
Katie
Hey there,

May I know what do you mean you had added some static HTML pages to your site? May I know which pages are you referring that you just want these pages to be private and only visible to logged in users of EasySocial?

Perhaps you can try to enable these settings which are at Site Lockdown. This allows only users with an account can able to access the system. (Kindly refer the screenshot)

By the way, it would be the best you can include your site's access and FTP's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can have a further checking if needed.

Hi Irwin,

Site pages like these? http://thehuntingnoticeboard.temporarywebsiteaddress.com/About-THNB.html

I can see it without being logged in, how do I hide it to only EasySocial logged in people?

Thanks

Hey there,

May I know how did you create this page out, http://thehuntingnoticeboard.temporarywebsiteaddress.com/About-THNB.html?

The 'Site Lockdown' mode is only affected on EasySocial.

By the way, it would be the best you can include your site's access and FTP's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can have a further checking if needed and find the solution for you.

Hi,

Just wrote the code for the page and added it to the top level on FTP.

How do I create plain pages then, on EasySocial so it is 'locked down'?

Thanks

Hey there,

It seems that it is impossible to redirect a non-login user to the login page when they access About-THNB.html page as it is in the Joomla Root Folder.

I suggest you create a Joomla Article and move all the content of it to it.

After that, create a Menu Item Type which is Joomla's Single Article and select the article that you created for it in 'Select Article'.

Also, you can adjust its Access to 'Registered' so that only logged in users able to view it. (Kindly refer the screenshot)
