Hi there,

After updating to EasyBlog 5.1.10 from 5.1.9 I can no longer access the "Maintenance" area of EasyBlog through the Joomla admin area.

Displays the classic blank page suggesting a PHP fatal error and in the error logs we have:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'return' (T_RETURN), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) in /administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/maintenance.php on line 147, referer: /administrator/index.php?option=com_easyblog

... domain name removed.

Thanks
That was known issue, can you try download that fix file from this thread and see how it goes?

By the way, may i know what is reason why you need to run the maintenance script again from backend when you already updated to 5.1.10 Easyblog on your site?

Thanks, I was working on it 2 hours later when I saw the new update notice come up and saw in the Changelog that this was a known issue, and that it's been fixed so I won't need the patch download, I'll just update to 5.1.11.

I wasn't going to the Maintenance area to do anything in particular, I was just having a look to see what was there

Yes, that patch fix already included in current latest version of Easyblog.

By the way, thanks for your info Philippa.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
