Hello,

I installed the vanilla template and have a problem with the menu.

The main menu items on my site are "Stories" and "Community". These are visible on desktop but are not accessible on mobile. On vanilla.stackideas.com these menu items are part of the drop down menu on the left on mobile view.

How do I make the main menu items accessible on mobile in the vanilla template?
Hi Jonathan,

Are you referring to the sidebar in vanilla mobile view? http://take.ms/f82Fwg

If yes, you have to assign the menu module to the 'sidebar' position in vanilla template(http://take.ms/2FV3qm).

I assigned the menu module to the sidebar position with attached result. The menu items are horizontal rather than vertical. I'm sure there is something simple I am missing.

Hey Jonathan,

I suspect the menu module that you used contains styling that prevents the menu from displaying vertically.

As such, I have helped you create another menu module in the sidebar position. Can you check again and let us know how it goes?
