What screen resolution are you using? This I believe is simulating the tablets responsive view.

That is the correct behavior as there is a minimum width for the menus to appear so I am not sure what is the issue here eh?

That is because it is designed to be hidden just like a mobile device and if you want to render the menu, you need to click on the hamburger icon beside the logo just like the mobile.
