Hello,
please i need your help in order to check the correct setup for "mailbox publishing".
I setup on the server the following command: wget -O http://www.sharinglook.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron >/dev/null 2>&1
So every two days i aspect that "Mailbox publishing" works properly, i tried to send an email containing a blog to publish, the server received correctly the email but didn't posted on blog.
Checking the setup on backend of Joomla all works fine (see attached screenshot)
What can i do in order to solve this issue?
Email setted is publish@sharinglook.com
Thank you in advance
Salvatore
Hello Salvatore,

I have checked in your site, it seems like when i run the cron debug command, i getting this :

Email batch process finished.

Mailbox: Unspecified default user id.

0 blog posts fetched from Twitter

The error that you see there can be ignored if you do not wish to process remote email publishing. If you do intend to fetch emails as blog post, you need to set the default user id from the remote publishing area at the back end of EasyBlog, see my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/HK9JxB3Depk
Also, i have help you disabled that SSL,Validate cert and Map email to the user's email
It look like the SSL and Validate is not support from your IMAP, when you browse your user and save the setting then see is it work?

Hello Arlex, i set "user", but inspite everything the system seems not work properly. I done a test sending an email to publish@sharinglook.com as in "the mailbox publishing" setted, but the email test didn't appeared among the available published blogs.
What do you think still missing?
Moreover even the cronjob for new rss blogs seems didn't work fine, for example the first rss "Process in cron" is setted "OK" (If enabled, this feed will also be processed for new items when the cron process is executed).

For your convenience, please be informed that today at 4.00am (local time) the server has processed the cronjobs correctly.
Obect email received from server:

1) Cron <shari038@server7> wget -O http://www.sharinglook.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=latest&format=feed&type=rss>;/dev/null 2>&1
2) Cron <shari038@server7> wget -O http://www.sharinglook.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron >/dev/null 2>&1

Thank you in advance for your usual cooperation

Check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/f1gF0Hlr70

Regarding with your Cron feed issues :
It seems like you set wrongly the cron feed command, try set to this feed cron command like
1) Cron wget -O http://www.sharinglook.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cronfeed>;/dev/null 2>&1
from your Cpanel.

If still can't make it work, is it possible provide us with your Cpanel access so we can help you check on your configuration setting? Please advise.

Hello salvatore,

I have checked in your cronjob configuration, it seems like you set not correct path in your cron command, i have help you modified, look at below cron command :

/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://www.sharinglook.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cronfeed"
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://www.sharinglook.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron"

Also, i have checked in your cron time, what you set is 2days + 4 hour only process 1 time cron command. check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/mY2dzrj0 ( In my opinion, you can set 1 hour or 2 hour so when the user publishing some blog post send via email, it also publishing faster in your site)

I have tried to publishing send via email, and the cron feed also work perfectly. => my local screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/ZHmmewswc5N (Cronfeed)
Can you try it and see the result is it working? Please advise.

Hello Salvatore,

Sorry for late reply to this,
You're welcome, I have tried to check again with your CronFeed, it work fine too.

What i test is get the RSS URL from my test site -> http://nikei.tumblr.com/rss
Then create a new feed from your backend -> EasyBlog > Feed Importer > http://screencast.com/t/NviOtcRqWKJg

After 5 minute the result is come out -> check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/t0s8qTumIsB

If I'm not wrong, i have tested run the cronfeed command in your site at last night, I also have check all the feed URL, it only show 1 Feed URL got 10+ feed already published in your site.
Or do you try to publish some article from your feed site, then wait for 5 minute and see how it goes.

(Yup, sad case )
