When I look at the mail activity it shows that emails are being sent and it shows the recipients but the emails aren't actually being sent. Do I need to do something to activate this?
Hello Jeff,

I've checked your cpanel and seems like you didn't put the wget path. your command should be like this /bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://weeklytales.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron"; : http://screencast.com/t/4uxmq17f11dB . I've put it for you and I got this error: /bin/wget: No such file or directory. This means that your web hosting using a different path for wget. You might want to consult your hosting about the correct path. You will need to get the correct path to "wget". Not every hosting has it in /bin/wget". Hope this helps.

Hello Jeff,

Sorry for the late reply. If the Mail Activities shows that it is being sent then there might be some issues with the Joomla Mail configuration. You will need to check the mail configuration in Joomla Global Configuration. Also we will need your backend and FTP to check this out. Please advice.

Thanks!

It looks like everything is set up correctly. People receive emails when logging into my site but not when changes are made in EasyBlog.

Attached site access. Should be able to get to my files through a component called profiles.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hello Jeff,

Sorry for the late reply. I have checked your Mail Activities and the mails are all in pending. Seems like you did not setup a cronjob. There is 2 ways your can do this

1. Setup a cronjob
- A cronjob will automatically send your mails at a time interval of your choice
- Check out the links below for reference

2. Setup send mails on page load.
- Not recommended if you have a lot of mails going out as this will slow down page load time. What this does is actually trigger the send mail process whenever someone loads an EasyBlog page.
- Please go to backend -> EasyBlog -> Settings -> Notification -> General. Here set the "Send emails on page load " to YES

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

So I went in and setup a cronjob and it still didn't email out. I attached the cronjob setting. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Thanks!

Hello Jeff,

Can you provide us an access to your cpanel so we can debug your cronjob setup? Please advise.

Thanks, I contacted my host and I had to add /usr to the start of the directory. That fixed it.
