Hi

On the Homepage I include the Module mod_easybloglatestblogs.

It loads 1 post only. This post has a "Read more" link. The Text before the readmore-link (introtext) contains HTML. This HTML gets lost.

I Use Easyblog 5.0.22. Before in Easyblog 3.x the HTML was displayed in the introtext.

How can I get back HTML formatting?

Thank you for your help!

Regards
Patrick
Hi Patrick,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've applied the modification inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/modules/modules.php and the html tags will only be stripped when you enabled "Remove HTML code" from the module settings, http://screencast.com/t/amNFANC9AVr .

Hi Erzul

Thank you very much - it works great!
Will your modification remain intact, once I update the EasyBlog Software = will you include the modification inside of your EasyBlog Software?

Thank you very much!
Best regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

You are most welcome. We will try to add this fix in the next release of easyblog since the fix might affecting other modules as well and we need to ensure that everything is working correctly. As for now it is advisable for you to backup the modification for each update of easyblog.

Hey Scott,

I have applied a fix for you on the site, can you give this a try again? The module should be respecting the "Remove HTML Codes" settings and this will be fixed on the next release of EasyBlog.

Hey Kira,

It would be best if you can start a new thread on our forums regarding with your issue and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check.

Has this been fixed? I am having a similar issue. I DON'T want the html stripped from the Intro Text and it is being stripped.

hey Mark,

May i know do you have turn off this `Remove HTML Code` option from the latest blog post module? If yes, and the issue still persists, can you start a new thread and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?
