Hi guys,

i already had that problem before but cant find it anymore here.

i just wrote 3 hours on an article and always was saving intermitend to make sure i dont lose any data. at one of the saves it displayed all the sidebars like blog images, blog format where extended. so i hit save again to reload the side and after that all the content was gone.
Just headline and all the options in the siddemenu like blog image, blog format stayed. everything elsw as gone. I dont know what caused the issue. i was able to save and save for a lot of times but just at that one point it showed me all the sidbars extended and that was it.

so far everything is working but this issue is a big issue for me. Probably i should use strg + c to copy everything before saving. Maybe you have any ideas....
Hello Peter,

Are you writing this from the back end or the front end of EasyBlog?

hi there,

i did it in backend. Its for me more convenient to write.

But the thing is i was writting a couple lines hit the save button and it got saved. wrote some more text and saved it again. i did it like ten times. And one time i also hit save and i dont know if the above mentioned behavier is involved (having all side tabs expanded) or not. But i just hit save again, so reload the page and everything from content area got erased. All the other options stayed. I also checkend in the sql DB but there was no duplicate entry nothing. all the content was just gone
I was really pissed at that moment Well I know it can happen. But it happened to me before a couple times. I thougt it was fixed maybe due one of the latest updates.
Honestly I cant tell you what exactly causes this issue.

I was using this time Windows 8.1 and Chrome Browser.

I dont know if i can help you some how to get to the root of this issue...

I love your software anyway but this is just a pretty bad thing. I wrote such a great and long article, took my about 3 hours...and everything was gone. Maybe we can sort it out fot the future

Thanks for listening...

Hello Peter,

Hm, perhaps you should try writing from the front end because it has an automated drafting system

hi mark,

i have to give it a shot, but i just got so used writing in backend. I will try and hope frontend solves the problem. But the problem is not the auto drafting. I did "manual drafting" by hitting the save button myself.
This issue could also happen in fronted if i hit save that due some glitch it erases all content...Well I hope not...but it happend a lot of times now to me...
I just dont know how to reproduce it, so you could have a better look into it. it was working fine all the time now. Could it be due to long articles, because it always happens, when i write a big article, for a couple lines in never happened....

Hello Peter,

Hm, I can't really give you an answer as to how the contents went missing but I don't really see how that is happening because if you try to save an empty content, EasyBlog will throw an error even if you have accidentally saved an empty blog post.
