hello,

having issues with users logging out of the easysocial site.

Where a user is viewing a friend's profile, photos or their own photos and chooses to logout, they fail to be redirected back to the home page but instead are redirected to access restriction pages as though they were not friends. The same with blogs posts which require registration to access.

Can you advice on this.

find attached screen shots

Thank you
Hi,

I tested on your site and the log out seems to be obeying the settings in EasySocial -> Settings -> Users -> Logout redirection correctly.

Hi Jason,

They all still subsist.

If you follow the description you certainly will reproduce the issues displayed in the attached file except you are stating that this is the normal function of the logout option when a user chooses to do this while within their album page, friends profile.

Login with the demo details, access my profile and while on my page, logout and you will see the issue being replicated.

Do same and access the demo user's album and then logout while on the album page, you got the 2nd issue

Do same and access my photos, logout and you get the next.

I believe when you logout irrespective of what page you are on, you ought to be redirected to the home page. Am I wrong in holding so?

Hi,

I think you used the sidebar's sign out instead of the toolbar sign out?

We've identified a bug in the sidebar module sign out button where it is not obeying the logout settings.

The logout button in the toolbar however, is having the correct behaviour.

We will fix the sidebar module sign out button in the next release.

Thanks for getting back.

Just to let you guys know, the calendar application doesn't adhere to the privacy rule. Meaning, someone who searches for my details and finds me can still view my calendar entries even though privacy settings are in place. Might want to address this at the next update also.

Cheers

Hi,

Currently calendar event does not have privacy settings. Do you mean the user profile privacy settings?
