Hi there,

we are using EasySocial in combination with PayPlans and are in pre go-live project with final setup and testing.

We are facing an issue with E-Mails not displaying our website/company logo altough the logo is being referenced in the backend (see screenshot)

But when I take a look on E-Mail Templates in backend and do a preview ...then I can see the logo on any of the E-Mails (see screenshot)

What could be the reason ?

Regards
Markus
Hi Irwin,

thanks so much for all the details ....this is much appreciated.

You might be indeed right that the issue is with the missing SSL certificate.
Since this is a site just for testing with a subdomain and not the productive live URL, we are not using a SSL certificate here because our package only allows to create top level domain certificates.

I am going to test the same with our top level domain then.

cheers
Markus

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay in this reply as it was a weekend for us here.

According to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51471607/email-thumbnail-url-changed-to-googleusercontent-com-in-gmail, every time an image link is included in an email the request will go to the Google Image Proxy first to see if it has been cached, if so it should serve it up from the proxy or it will go fetch it and cache it thereafter. So that's why you will see the image link like this as shown in the screenshot and is beyond our control. https://monosnap.com/file/IA61si5r3wQY1zltv53XKkUxloz28f

But we suspected this maybe related to your SSL certificate issue as shown in the screenshot. https://monosnap.com/file/AEBJ5UMkKiik3oJE2bJoHmnQamTbpw

Perhaps you can consult with your web hosting on solving the SSL certificate issue and wait for Google to re-cache it from their proxy server and see how it goes.

Hi Irwin,

you were finally right that the issue is with the missing SSL certificate.
I moved the site to topp level domain with a certificate and all images were now present in the E-Mails.
Ticket can be closed.

Thanks a lot for the great support.

Regards
Markus
