There is a problem logging in to Facebook. The logged-in user is assigned a cryptic ID or user name and can not log on with the data. (Example: fb-1728839774098087)

As soon as you click on the new profile, you get a 404 error page.

Is the error known, or is there a troubleshooting?

Ps .: Have the registration with Facebook first issued, if anyone would like to look at.

Best regards
That was strange, it seems like when I try to login via Facebook from your site, it seems work fine without storing the Facebook user id, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

I did manually update those username which stored Facebook ID, can you ask your site user to re-authenticated again with their Facebook user account in Easysocial?

What they need to do is click on forget password link -> https://www.yoursite.com/account/passwort-vergessen

Then sign in via Facebook again, link to his existing user account.

By the way, keep us update if you find out how to replicate this issue.

Hmm but this is not a nice solution. There will probably be some users to sign up. With Twitter it works in the rest properly. Only have unfortunately not as many a Twitter account as Facbook.

Yes, I definitely know that, what my suggestion is just for temporary since your user unable to login now.

By the way, keep us update if you find out how to replicate this issue.

The thing is I was unable to replicate this issue when I try login via Facebook from your site, it will store correctly with my Facebook username instead of my Facebook id, if you saw my attached screenshot at above.

Perhaps if you can find out what is the step to reproduce this issue, it might be I missing some of the step.

Can one make it at least soindest the only a login with Facebook is possible but no registration?

For existing users, the login works with Facebook. Unfortunately, the registry does not work as it should.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Unfortunately that was not possible to make it only allow user to login.

Based on what you described that issue, I would love to help but now I can't replicate this issue

perhaps you can watch my video here and see is it I reproduce this issue wrongly? Then check my user account from your backend Easysocial user listing page, that username it will store correctly with my Facebook username rather than Facebook user id.
-> http://screencast.com/t/V2FcFXzS8DS

Perhaps you can try enable again Facebook login from your site and see those new user is it still having this issue?

Or if you can found a way to reproduce this, remember share this to me, so I can reproduce this issue from my side.

Okay thank you, it has just been tried again. And it's just like you are in the video.

How the error comes about, but I can not explain.

I had before the option "registration type" in Damin on simplified procedures. Perhaps the error would be so. I test this time.

Also the error does not occur. But I have no idea of what it could be. I let the Facebook plugin times in it. Perhaps only one bit is dropped and now it functions again.

One of my users yesterday had the same problem again. I then changed the FB ID into a user name and then the login has worked.

But that is not a solution.

Could it possibly be because:

Facebook ID: fb_10154229320191325
Link to profile: fb-10154229320191325

Hm, not sure what did you change but I have temporarily disabled the JFBConnect plugin as I am not too sure if it is changing the username.

Could you please let me know what you have changed? Also, can you try registering now and see if it's still using the fb_xxxx id?

I just had the registration set to Automatic. Otherwise nothing was changed.

The error does not occur with me. But unfortunately with other users.

I hope the error is now fixed.

Best regards

I have a question, may i know do you still have use JFBconnect extension on your site?

Because I suspect it conflict with Easysocial Facebook login, when I turn off all these JFBconnect plugin, it won't generate that Facebook id store in username coloumns, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Since Easysocial already have build-in Facebook and Twitter login feature, now I already disabled these JFBconnect plugins, it should work fine now for those new user sign up via Facebook in EasySocial.
