Hi,
I added the option to login/register using FB and was testing it and once I managed to register an account (I don't remember whether I was at the time using the regular FB button that comes with ES or the JFBConnect one) and it worked well but since then I deleted that account and tried registering again for more tests but it just loops back to /login (regular FB button) or just refreshes the page (JFBConnect). Would be great if you could take a look.
Thanks,
Michael
Hi Michael,

I have done some debugging and it seems like it is coming from JFBConnect. Can you consult this issue with JFBConnect developers regarding this issue. I am sorry because I can't assist you further.

Please do update us back on this issue once they have replied.
Cheers and have a awesome day.

Hello Michael,

When I tried to login to your site with my Facebook account, I am actually hitting this issue, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-13_0036.png . I have a feeling that your Facebook app isn't setup correctly. Can you please verify this?

I do not have the login credentials to your Facebook account to verify your app. If you want me to verify this for you, please provide us with your Facebook login credentials

That would be great, Mark. Just let me know what you did because I might have to setup that app again as currently it's linked to a personal account.
Thanks,
Michael

Hello Michael,

I have just checked your site and it seems like you have enabled the integrations with JFBConnect and all the social login buttons which you see within EasySocial are actually generated by JFBConnect. I believe you will need to configure JFBConnect correctly. As I am not really familiar with how JFBConnect works, perhaps you should try reaching to them to check this out?

Hi Mark,
I would have but as I mentioned the same happens with the regular FB button that comes with ES (I disabled JFBC and it still doesn't work) so I'm guessing the cause lies elsewhere.
Best,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have reconfigure your Facebook Apps and now it is working as it should be. Can you verify this issue is resolved?

Please advise.

Hi Mohd,
You're a lifesaver! Could you tell me what you changed in the app so I could avoid committing the same mistake if I have to set up a new one?
Thanks,
Michael

Actually, now that I switched back to FJBConnect, it loops again (I can see you created a new app so I updated the settings of JFBC with the new IDs). Is this something I need to raise with them? Or is it still a matter of configuring the app correctly?
Best,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I have created a new Facebook Apps on your Facebook and integrate it with your site. As for your JFBConnect, I will get back to you as soon as I finished debugging it.

Please advise.

Hi Mohd,
I removed the script that I was instructed to put in my index.php when creating the app and looks like JFBC isn't looping anymore. JFBC probably adds their own scripts for that. Anyway, I will keep you posted if I notice anything else. Thank you, as ever, for your assistance.
Best,
Michael

Hi Mark, you may close this thread. Turns out using the ES registration combined with JFBC is exactly what I need.
Thanks,
Michael
