Hi Team, i came accross this issue, when we get logged in everything goes ok, but after we get logged out the green icon remains on for a very long period, is there a way to fix this?

Kind Regards,
Hi Pedro,
May I know what 'login green icon' you are referring to? I tried to replicate your issue in your site by signing in and out but I did not notice anything out of the ordinary. Perhaps you can include a screenshot so I can better understand this issue? Let us know, thanks.

Hi Raymond, the information that is passed throwgh apps and everithing that is related to user information, the first thing is when you are in dashbord or in a group page if you hoover on avatar it say, that user is logged in since xx hours, when it only should say, logged in or out, the other thing is if you go to a profile that has been online and then goes ofline, the online icon will stay on for a long time and i know for sure that user has logged out

Hi Pedro,
Below is the breakdown of your two issues.
the first thing is when you are in dashboard or in a group page if you hoover on avatar it say, that user is logged in since xx hours, when it only should say, logged in or out
This is actually the default behavior. If you want to modify that, you would have to do a template override on the related file and also a language override for both your language sites. http://screencast.com/t/Cxlr8uhlQh By looking at the screenshot, if this is really what you want, then let me know.
the other thing is if you go to a profile that has been online and then goes ofline, the online icon will stay on for a long time and i know for sure that user has logged out
I tried to replicate this by creating a new user, then login both the new user and the provided account here. When I logout the new user, it displays the red offline icon after I refreshed. So I do not see any issue here.

Hi Raymond, as for the first part i guess that will solve the, problem.A for the part of the refresh, well for a users perspective of someone like you and me, it makes sense doing the refresh, problem is that many people and i mean really alot of people dont know that they have to refresh the page, and the thing is, if i log out. I am still going to appear to that person if i am logged in! And this will be an issue cause people will keep sending messages and think that i dont reply because i dont want.

Hi Pedro,
I have already helped you apply the customization and language override for the first part. Just so you know we do not do customization request normally so this is just out of good will.
For second part, when you hover over an avatar after the user logout it will show offline after the ajax loads. However, if the ajax already load while the user was online the ajax will not reload and will say still say online until the page is refreshed. This is the current behavior as from my observation. I will consult with the developers and see if there's anything that can be done. Hope this helps.
