Hello, I seem to be getting random login issues where I get invalid Token, or do get logged in and see the following messages?

Here is the Token error message in Chrome
The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again.
I believe that is cache issue, because when you trying to login, the previous token already cached from your site, so you might hitting this issue.

May i know what you set the cache type from your backend > system > global configuration > system > cache system?

Perhaps you can temporary disable your cache system and see how it goes?

Alex, cache is off and was off before this issues. I feel like the login types are confused still from moving over from JomSocial. This issue has been going on sporadically for some time.

hey Mark,

It seems like you provided that login access is no longer working now, so I was unable to test your login issue.

I feel like the login types are confused still from moving over from JomSocial. This issue has been going on sporadically for some time.

I have a little bit lost here, which login types confused?

Hello,

after login is having issues again, it wont render the landing page, it looks like the attached. It seems that this breaks every time after an upgrade of easy social.

With that said, I bought the echo template. I'd like to use it, but it doesn't display my main menu and has a funny black bar at the top of the page.

How can we switch everything to the echo template and have it show my main menu hierarchy?

Thanks!
Mark

Hey Mark,

It seems like I was unable to replicate this issue as what you show us that screenshot, can you elaborate more details regarding this how to reproduce this issue?

By the way, I already move your main menu module to display on this module position -> position-menu, it should render correctly the menu item on the header now.

Hi Alex, we were working on site at same time, I did get echo running so the security token issue is gone. Please leave the menu below my banner, in the Content-top position.

How do i get rid of the bar at the top, I did read how to change the color in the custom css, but I dont want it there at all.

Last thing and I will be very happy, is how do i change my menu text color and or background so its more readable?

Thanks!
Mark

Actually I am not encourage to put your menu bar at this module position 'position-content-top', because this position will not handle the menu item very well.

By the way, regarding with your other question, you can try apply this following css code into your JoomlaFolder/templates/echo/css/custom.css and see how it goes.

/* this will remove that header bar */
header.navbar.navbar-default {
display: none !important;
}

/* this update the colour from the menu item link*/
.echo .nav-pills>li>a {
color: #000099;
}

/* this update the colour from the menu item link*/
.echo .nav-child li a {
color: #0099ff;
}

By the way, what i suggestion is if you really want to populate your menu item at 'position-content-top' , do not render submenu item on the menu module.
