Hello,
I have a membership option on my site (Membership Pro - Joomdonation) and I am limiting the use of forums to members. I want to be able to login with my Joomla Super User or Publisher account and be assigned the EasyDiscuss Role of Admin. (I have a Role set for Joomla users group called Members.)
Problems: I cannot login to the frontend as a Super User and I haven't been able to assign the Super User account to the user group Member either. Since I can't login, I can't get to the forums. I thought that I would work around this by using another account that I have assigned in Joomla users as author, editor, publisher, and member and, yes, I can login with that but even though I assign an admin label to this account by selecting the Joomla User Group "Publisher', when I make a post on the frontend it defaults that user profile to the Member role. I am at a loss and need some help to get this sorted out so that I can login and have a separate role from my members.
Hey Karen,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

I have checked in your site, it seems like you provided that superadmin account is under public/Superadmin user group, can you login another superadmin account and remove that `public` user group and see how it goes?

Thank you, Arlex. I had been trying to make changes to the user group selections but was unable to. I have discovered that some security measures that I had in place were preventing me from doing that (Akeeba Admin). I have been able to make the changes and it looks like I have everything fixed the way that I need it to be. Sorry for the trouble. Thank you.
