Hi,
I searched the forums looking for an answer first without success.

Registered users are currently unable to login to komento to comment. only guests are able to comment. If a user logs into easydiscuss first then they are able to comment as a registered user as they are already logged on.

process:
open page, use comment link in top right to jump to the bottom
click 'add comment' komento button
enter user name and password

result:
does not log user in
page refresh goes up one k2 category

i have tried various permissions and user group combinations but it is still not working

login details provided in 'site details' tab

I cannot for the life of me figure this out, thank you in advance for your reply
Mark helped me sort out these issues. I have an issue with K2 preventing the login from working, and it was not Komento's issue and Mark helped me with a workaround.
Regarding my Reply button not appearing, my ACL wasn't set correctly.
Thank you again for the great support.

Hello Forrestt.

Can provide us with joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on this issue directly? because I can't replicate this issue in my local.

Please advise

Thank you,

Unfortunately I cannot provide you with FTP and Joomla backend access due to security restrictions.
However, the user name and login info I provided for testing the issue on our site should at least show the issue and how it's working.
We can schedule a time to use teamviewer if you like, I have done that in the past with Mark.

Currently running into two more issues as well:
• Reply button not showing
• Unable to disable posting as guest

Thank you in advance,

Still dealing with 2 issues:
- Login not working - as described above
- Reply button not showing - I searched through the forum and it looks like it should be ACL, but I have double checked the ACL settings and it should be showing. I have enabled reply for all user groups but the reply button is still not appearing on the frontend.

- I mentioned 'Unable to disable posting as guest' earlier but I found the answer to that on the forum

Thanks in advance for your reply,

Hey Forrestt,

We will need to access your site to check on this issue as we can't reproduce this issue internally. We can however reproduce this on your front end with the provided test account but we can't really determine why / what is the cause of these issues.
